Starring Ranbir Kapoor, the upcoming Ramayan is successful in creating buzz. And the latest update from the United States has boosted the excitement among fans. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film was reportedly showcased at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Some attendees got an exclusive chance to watch the unseen footage of the film.

CinemaCon is popular as one of the most important annual gatherings for the global exhibition and film industry. Studios usually use the event to show upcoming films, reveal exclusive footage, and build excitement among distributors, theatre owners, and media. 

Recently, the Avengers: Doomsday trailer was also shown at the event.  The makers of Ramayana reportedly screened around 20 minutes of footage for a limited audience during the event, as per the audience's reaction. This private presentation gave some attendees an early look at the film before its theatrical release. 

Mr Like It Or Not shared the video to discuss the footage. The creator claimed they were among a small group who were invited to watch it. Their review instantly gained attention across social media. 

The screening in the US also shows the makers’ goal to put Ramayana on a domestic release.  Showcasing the exclusive footage hints that the team wants strong worldwide visibility.

Visual effects have been a major point of controversy since the first teaser came out. Some viewers had raised concerns earlier, as some visuals mimic AI use. But the actor in that glimpse clarified the speculation by saying that he is real.

Global Release Buzz Continues

There are also claims that Warner Bros might support the international distribution. But no confirmation has been made as of now. If true, it might help Ramayana to reach a wider audience. 

Indian films have increasingly found an audience outside the country, especially in North America, the Middle East, Europe, and parts of Asia. A film based on one of the world’s recognised epics might attract Indian viewers and international audiences curious about the story. 

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Part 1 will release this Diwali. The last and second part may be released in 2027.
