After just minutes of its release, the Ranbir Kapoor Ramayana teaser has become a major talking point for the fans. The official glimpse of the upcoming movie dropped today, April 2, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. 

Titled Rama, this short clip runs for around 2 minutes and 38 seconds. And it carries a U certificate from the CBFC. Early screenings in Los Angeles had also left the audience stunned with its scale and emotion. 

In the teaser, Ranbir Kapoor stepped into the role of Lord Rama; his expression was one of complete dedication. His role has a mix of grace, strength, and little intensity that fans say feels deeply respectful. 

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi also appears as Sita, bringing her signature natural charm and elegance to the role. Yash plays Ravana as a powerful and layered antagonist. Notably, their faces were clearly not visible in the clip because it was made to introduce Ranbir Kapoor as Rama.

It gives a little taste of the grand vision behind the project without revealing too many details. It hints at duty, exile, and the beginning of the memorable journey that would be the core of this epic saga.

Similarly, Yash as Ravana will give more screen presence to the scene. After his explosive performance in the KGF series, audiences are excited to see how he will play the complex demon kings. 

Apart from them, popular actor Sunny Deol will also portray the role of lord Hanuman because he brings physical power and charisma to this character. Additionally, Ravie Dubey will also appear as Lakshman. Yet, Arun Govil, along with Lara Dutta, will also be seen in important characters in this epic story.

Music is one of the biggest highlights of the film. The legendary Hollywood composer behind scores for Inception, The Lion King, and Dune, Hans Zimmer, is partnering with AR Rahman for the first time. The combination has made fans excited about an epic sound that mixes Indian classical roots and grand orchestral power. 

The background score in the Ranbir Kapoor Ramayana Teaser is an example of what fans can expect in the movie. It might become one of the trending topics of the film when the full songs come out.
