Those reports were pointing out that Mahhi Vij would leave the show to participate in Colors TV’s reality show, The 50, which aired from 1 February 2026.  Although the show ended last month, Mahhi Vij is still shooting Seher Hone Ko Hai. 

As of April 2026, Mahhi Vij is very much part of the show. She is actively involved in this Muslim-background show and shares important updates on social media. In short, such activities hint that she is currently filming the show.

Despite rumours of Mahhi’s exit, there is another important update related to the show that must be mentioned. While it used to be telecast at 10 PM on Colors TV, the channel has given the show a new slot. It will now air on 8:30 PM from April 20, 2026. 

The change comes after a massive demand from loyal viewers for a slot change amid dropping TRP. Fans believed that the late-night slot is one of the major reasons behind the dip in viewership because the show keeps generating immense buzz on social media platforms. 

As the timing is about to change in a few days, it would now be interesting to see whether the rating will improve in the prime time slot. Only time will tell. As of now, fans are celebrating changes in the slot. But Mahhi Vij’s exit report has come as a speedbump for the fans.
