Not Kinshuk Mahajan, But This Actor Enters Mahadev & Sons

Mahadev & Sons sees a sudden casting change as Kinshuk Mahajan exits the show. A new actor has now stepped in, adding a fresh twist to the storyline.

Colors TV’s Mahadev & Sons is almost successful in grabbing eyeballs with a decent storyline. The show revolves around Mahadev and his sons is winning the audience’s heart. On top of that, the audience is widely connected with the on-screen chemistry of Mahadev’s son, Dheeraj (Aasim Khan), and Rajji (Garvita Sandhwani). 

Recently, the show gained headlines as early reports confirmed that popular actor Kinshuk Mahajan was confirmed to enter the show for an important cameo. His involvement created curiosity as his character was connected to Narmada (Neha Rana). Both were previously seen together in Megha Barsege. Now, IWM Buzz suggests that he has opted out of the cameo. 

Why Kinshuk Mahajan Left Mahadev & Sons

Despite initial confirmation, Kinshuk had to step away from Mahadev and Sons because he was dealing with scheduling issues. 

He is currently committed to Colors TV’s Bareilly Ke Bachchan. Featuring Pravish Mishra and Ramneek Kataria as the main leads, the show is produced by Arushi Sood. Continuing both projects was difficult for Kinshuk due to an overlapping schedule that led to his exit. 

The decision was made mutually between Kinshuk Mahajan and the makers of Mahadev and Sons. Kinshuk himself confirmed the news to the media portal.

Uttar Kumar Steps In as Sikandar

After Kinshuk Mahajan’s sudden exit, the makers have instantly roped Uttar Kumar in for the same role of Sikandar. Known for his strong popularity in Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Kumar has a loyal fan base, especially among regional audiences.

He is a popular Indian actor, director, writer, and producer. He is widely linked with the Haryanvi and regional cinema. Many of his films gained massive viewership on YouTube. 

He has worked in around 80 movies in his career in regional cinema since 2004. He rose to fame with Dhakad Chhora, as it was among the most successful movies. It earned around ₹8.5 crores  that was considered a large amount for Haryanvi cinema. The movie was also referred to as the Sholay of Haryanvi Cinema. 

Apart from Dhakad Chhora, Baavli, Karamveer, Badda, and Saath are some other examples of his work. He has also served as a writer in some of his movies.  It showcases his versatile ability behind the camera as well. 

His entry might bring a different flavour to the character. His character is designed with a negative shade with comic blends. After winning hearts in the regional cinemas, it would be interesting to see how he will perform in Hindi TV as Sikandar in Mahadev & Sons.

What This Means for Mahadev & Sons

Casting changes near the shoot schedules usually impact production plans. But they also open up doors for new artists. As Uttar Kumar is on board for the role of Sikandar, Mahadev & Sons is gearing up for an unexpected twist that could change the family dynamics in the show. 

Meanwhile, many fans were waiting for Kinshuk’s entry in the show as it could mark a much-awaited reunion of Megha Barsenge. This change might be disappointing for them. Yet, they have the chance to see Kinshuk on their TV screen soon as he is set to return in a unique role in Bareily Ke Bacchan. 

As of now, neither the makers nor the channel has released an official statement related to the change. But the update has already generated immense buzz among regular viewers of Mahadev & Sons.
