For many months, Noyontara’s fans were suffering from a common word “Off-Air”. Yet, the show keeps getting extended due to impressive performance in the TRP chart. Starring Shubham Dipta and Shruti Bisht, Noyontara is finally confirmed to conclude later this month. The shoot for the show has also reportedly wrapped up recently.
Journey from Struggling Show To A Blockbuster
The supernatural show was launched in June 2025 at 8:30 PM. Despite getting a prime time slot, it failed to get good ratings in terms of viewership. This is because the channel shifted the show to the early slot of 6:30 PM to make way for Krushal Ahuja’s Bindii.
The good days for Noyontara started at 6:30 PM as the show started getting better than expected ratings in the early slot. At a point, it began gathering viewership of 1 TRP ratings that was impossible to touch for many shows. This forced the channel to keep extending the show.

After attracting impressive viewership, the show began falling in the TRP Chart recently due to repetitive storyline and increased negativity. The show even took many twists to revive the ratings, including the death of lead actor Surjo (Arjun Chakrabarty).
After the death of the lead, the show's TRP fell sharply to an all-time low. The makers then introduced a generational leap with the introduction of Mangal Lakshmi fame Shubham Dipta as a new male lead named Prateek. Meanwhile, Shruti Bisht stepped into a new character of Noyontara’s daughter, Tara.
The leap allowed the writers to fast-forward the timeline and reset some relationships. And it gives the story renewed momentum for some time. Viewers especially appreciated Shruti Bisht for remaining consistent after the plot change.
After the leap, the rating started improving slowly. But the channel decided to pull off the show due to a change in content strategy and the need for new content. Also, struggling ratings are among the reasons behind Noyontara's off-air.

As Noyontara’s off-air is confirmed as of now, the 6:30 PM slot will soon be empty. Fans can also expect the show to end on a positive note. The makers will soon tie up all big tracks and plotlines without leaving any loose ends.
This approach ensures viewers leave with satisfaction instead of frustration. The production team has reportedly planned a heartfelt finale to celebrate the journey of characters that fans love.
After the show’s conclusion, Colors TV might redirect its focus to supporting its new lineup, as the channel already has many shows in its pipeline. Bareilly Ke Bacchan, Juhi Mui, and Aditi Sharma’s new show are a few examples of those shows.
On the flip side, the conclusion of Noyontara has also opened doors for the cast, especially Shruti Bisht and Shubham Dipta, to explore new opportunities for their career growth. Meanwhile, fans must wait to see Shruti and Shubham in a new show.
What Should Fans Do Now?
The fear for Noyontara Off Air is finally coming to an end because the show is concluding in the upcoming days. Fans should now watch and enjoy the remaining episodes of the show. On top of that, fans will soon get a chance to enjoy some happy moments in the show after months of tense scenes.
One thing will still be unresolved: they will not get a chance to see the happy ending of the original couple, Noyontara and Surjo, as both characters have died in the show. Meanwhile, the current lead, Tara and Prateek, will have the much-awaited happy ending.
