Its visuals and the overall environment instantly grabbed the audience's attention. Although the makers have only revealed the title so far, the curiosity about this show has already been created.
As the promo is AI-generated, the faces of the main leads haven't been revealed yet. This is because fans became curious to know the Sairaab cast. Madirakshi Mundle has reportedly been roped in to play the female lead in the Star Plus new show 2026.

Although the first glimpse hasn’t revealed any great details about the upcoming show yet, it has only given a hint of the story.

The promo simply hints at a unique storyline where the age difference between the leads would play an important role.

Netizens Compare Sairaab Promo With Saiyaara
Soon after the promo release, fans started reacting to it. Some of them compared the AI characters ‘ looks with Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget.
Most of them compared the overall promo to the 2025 blockbuster movie Saiyaara. This happens because the male lead looks simply like Ahaan Pandey as Krish Kapoor. His hairstyle and outfits are very similar to Krish Kapoor's.
On top of that, the character is also a rockstar similar to Saiyaara’s Krish Kapoor. Netizens also call it Sasti Saiyaara (Inexpensive Saiyaara).
Despite the comparison, the show has successfully generated initial buzz among fans.

Although viewers guessed Jennifer Winget as the female lead, reports now reveal that Madirakshi Mundle is set to be the female lead in the show.
The update on Sairaab's cast has sparked excitement among fans, especially for those who have followed her since the beginning. Madirakshi has gained immense popularity through her performance as Sita in Siya Ke Ram. She was paired opposite Ashish Sharma in the mythological drama.
Apart from Siya Ke Ram, she has made an appearance in other popular mythological shows, like Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki as Mahalakshmi.Vighnaharta Ganesha, Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak, etc.
She made her debut with the Telugu film named Ori Devudoy.

When Will Star Plus’s Sairaab Premiere?
Star Plus has officially announced the Sairaab release date and telecast time on its social media portals. It is confirmed to hit the screen on the 2nd of June 2026. It will be telecast on 7:30 PM on the channel. As previously reported, the show will replace Advocate Anjali Awasthi.
Viewers also criticised announcing the release date before revealing the main cast promo. Some of them also point out that less promotion is the real reason behind the channel’s declining ratings. The show’s performance will only be determined after its launch.
