BARC TRP Week 18 brought major surprises as Zee TV’s Vasudha reclaimed the top spot with record ratings, while Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi dropped to third place amid rising competition.

BARC TRP has released shocking viewership data for week 18, 2026. This week's rankings see a surprising change in the top 5, as Star Plus’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi experienced a further drop after leading the charts for months. A few shows managed to gain an increase amid the highly competitive cricketing season of IPL 2026.

Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan Beats Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 

The biggest shocking thing about this week’s data is that Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan beats Star Plus’s most popular show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.  Amandeep Sindhu and Sheezan Khan starrer registered a strong jump to secure the second position due to its unique storyline and strong performances. 

Despite new entries and engaging twists, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 dropped to third place. The current track of Rio and Pari’s court case seems to drop the audience's interest. 

Vasudha tops the chart with record ratings

While Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi slipped to third spot, Zee TV’s Vasudha reclaimed the first position after leading the chart last week.  On top of that, the show secured its highest rating ever despite the cricketing season. 

Priya Thakur and Abhishek Sharma starrer becomes the most favorite show of the Indian audience. It would be interesting to see how it will perform in the future.

Big Fights Between Tum Se Tum Tak And Anupama 

Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey’s Tum Se Tum Tak once again proved itself with its engaging storyline because it claimed the fourth spot. The upcoming weeks could be crucial for the show as it is going towards Aryaman and Anu’s marriage. 

Meanwhile, Rupali Ganguly’s Anupama again fails to climb the chart. Similar to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, it was also among the leading shows of Indian television. 

Laughter Chefs sees a much-awaited climb 

The popular reality show makes a big jump to reach the sixth position after struggling between eight to ninth position. Krushna Abhishek and Sunita Ahuja’s reunion helped the show to get the much-awaited increase in viewership. On top of that, the show manages to attract viewers who were looking for a light-hearted show.

Popular shows also Witnessed Changes in Ranking 

Priyanka Chahar Chaudhry’s Naagin 7 sustained to stay at seventh position with a stable rating, followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at eighth. Udne Ki Aasha dropped to ninth position, and Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain also slipped to the tenth position. 

Colors TV’s popular show Mannat secured the sixteenth position. And Tum Dena Saath Mera sees anothe disapppointing results despite having a strong cast. It barely manages to make its place in the top 20 list. 

What To Expect in the Next Weeks?

This week’s rating is a perfect example of the story matters not the cast. Despite having a new face as the lead, Priya Thakur and Abhishek Sharma starrer Vasudha becomes the chart topper with its highest rating in history.  

Meanwhile, Tum Dena Saath Mera delivers another disappointing performance on its third consecutive week of its launch, regardless of having Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha in the leads. 

The upcoming weeks would also be exciting as the competition in the Top 5 is intensifying. It would be now interesting to see whether Zee TV continues its lead or Star Plus’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi or Anupama makes a surprising jump next week. Only time will answer.
