Zain Imam has reportedly replaced Harshad Chopda in Colors TV’s upcoming boxing-based drama Mukkabaaz. Along with the male lead change, Jahnvi Soni may now play the female lead.

The upcoming Colors TV show, Mukkabaaz, has been generating immense buzz since the reports emerged. The involvement of Harshad Chopda was one of the biggest reasons behind the buzz. 

As previously reported, Harshad was confirmed to play the lead opposite Munira Kudrati in this boxing-based show. The makers have reportedly now taken a dramatic turn in the casting process as popular TV actor Zain Imam, last seen in Suman Indori,  has been finalised for this show, along with Jahnvi Soni as the female lead.

The race for the lead faces for this show has been exciting since the beginning. Entertainhubvibe earlier reported that popular actors Harshad Chopda and Fahmaan Khan were in contention for the male lead, while emerging actresses Eshaa Pathak and Munira Kudrati were also contending for the female leads. 

After some days, surprising reports emerged stating that Harshad Chopda and Munira Kudrati are confirmed for Colors TV’s show. The development was enough to generate the much-needed excitement, especially due to the involvement of Harshad. He has created a huge fanbase through his appearances in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, etc, over the years. 

Despite a huge fanbase, Harshad Chopda has been replaced by Zain Imam for this upcoming show.

The latest development suggests that the makers have decided to move forward with a completely fresh cast.  This is because Zain Imam has reportedly been finalised to appear as the main lead along with Jahnvi Soni for this show. 

The update has shocked many fans, especially those who have been waiting for Harshad’s comeback. Meanwhile, it has also delighted the fans of Zain Imam, as he has also created a massive fanbase with his appearances in many popular shows. 

Although Zain was last seen in Colors TV’s Suman Indori, he started his journey with Zee TV’s Tashn E Ishq, where he impressed the audience with the negative role. After which, he became a leading face in many shows like Naamkaran, Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan, etc. 

Jahnvi Soni, on the other hand, is comparatively a new face in this industry. She has appeared in shows like Dahej Daasi. Despite being an emerging talent, she has impressed the audience with her excellent performance in the show.
