Janhvi Kapoor Chuttamalle AI Video Sparks Outrage; Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor & Vijay Deverakonda React

An AI-morphed video connected to Janhvi Kapoor & Jr NTR’s popular song Chuttamalle from Devara: Part 1 has triggered strong reactions from the film industry. Although Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR have condemned the manipulated content and warned of legal action, Vijay Deverakonda has also criticised the misuse of artificial intelligence.

A widespread concern has been raised on social media as an AI-generated video connected to Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR’s Chuttamalle song from Devara: Part 1 went viral recently. It has been digitally manipulated to create sexually explicit imagery of Janhvi Kapoor despite the original song not having anything of the sort. 

It has once again raised concerns about the misuse of artificial intelligence and the growing problem of celebrity deepfakes. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor have urged social media users not to promote or share the altered material. 

 Jr NTR Condemns The Morphed Video

Jr NTR reacted strongly on X after altered material started circulating online. He calls it “disgusting, sick and shameless” while confirming that he would take legal action against those responsible for creating and distributing it.

He also asked social media users to refrain from sharing, watching, or promoting it. NTR also pointed out that the AI misuse may harm anyone and called for stronger action from the government against the creation and circulation of harmful deepfake material.

NTR's statement highlighted the wider concern over women's digitally altered images and videos. He also said that he would pursue legal measures against the creators and those spreading the manipulated clip.

Janhvi Kapoor Says Legal Action Will Follow

Janhvi herself addressed the controversy on social media. She calls the circulation disturbing and asks people not to create, share, or promote such material. She also said that legal action would be taken against those involved. Her reaction comes after the manipulated content didn't stop circulating on the social media platforms. 

This incident is especially concerning because the original footage is from a professionally produced song. It means that the existing content was altered to create scenes. 

 Vijay Deverakonda Also Speaks Out

Vijay Deverakonda has also joined the voices condemning the incident. He described such misuse of technology in extremely strong terms and called for serious consequences for those involved. 

He pointed out that the incident comes when AI is already being debated as a technology for its impact on jobs and creative industries. Vijay also questioned how it could be used to produce degrading material targeting someone. He also extended his support for taking action against the circulation of such videos.

His reaction has also added another popular voice from the South Indian film industry to the discussion around AI-generated abuse.

AI Deepfakes Raise A Larger Concern

The Janhvi Kapoor incident isn't the first case related to deepfakes. Several prominent actresses have previously faced fake or altered videos and images. Repeated calls for stronger safeguards against non-consensual AI-generated material have been made previously. 

The Janhvi Kapoor Chuttamalle AI Video highlighted the audience's responsibility to stop such incidents. Reposting or sharing such altered content may only increase its visibility even when your intentions are to criticize it. 

Although Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR have indicated that legal action is being pursued, their reaction renewed the conversation around responsible AI use and digital consent.
