The show helped them to gain initial fame, as fans still miss seeing them together on screen. The couple is reportedly making their much-awaited return to the entertainment field after around 9 years. 

From Miley Jab Hum Tum To Nach Baliye: The Couple Got Immense Appreciation 

Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani were first paired in Star One’s Miley Jab Hum Tum. The college-based show was one of the most popular shows of that time. Mohit and Sanaya became a household name through their performance in the show as Samrat and Gunjan. They got immense popularity through these characters. Apart from the couple, Arjun Bijlani and Rati Pandey were also part of the same show. 

Mohit and Sanaya appeared on the TV again in Nach Baliye (2017) after getting married in 2016. Both emerge as the second runner-up in the same show, given to their dancing and strong chemistry. 

Besides working together, both have worked on many TV shows and projects simultaneously over the years. Sanaya has impressed the audience with her work in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Dun, Rangrasiya, and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Meanwhile, Mohit has also seen shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Naagin, Tumhari Paakhi, etc.

Reunion After 9 Years

After getting third place in the dancing reality show, Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani are set to make their grand return from a vertical series. Fans have waited to see the couple on screen for years. The couple has delighted them by deciding to appear in a new format. 

Both are reportedly locked for a vertical microdrama titled Qubool Hai on Kuku TV. This kind of series has become a new trend in entertaining the online audience. Kuku TV has also delivered many successful projects in this format. 

This update has sparked excitement among fans who wished to see the couple in the fiction show. Viewers are waiting to see their favourite couple back in the world of entertainment after years of waiting. 

Sanaya Irani Expressed Her Excitement

Sanaya admitted that their personalities made their collaboration complicated earlier because both have different working styles and temperaments.  But living together has changed their dynamics naturally. 

She said to Etimes, “Mohit and I as individuals were different in terms of our working pace and temperament. But this time, I was surprised to see that we were in sync. We have been together for 17 years now, and somewhere along the way, we have become like each other. It is easier to work with him now than it was back then. Today, there is a sense of understanding”. 

It shows that people's relationships change over time. 

Mohit Sehgal Also Shared Reason Behind Working On It

Meanwhile, Mohit also shared that the exciting format of the series is one of the reasons behind their agreement to come on board. They found the idea refreshing because none of them had worked on it before. 

He said, "The format looked very interesting, and the story looked good, so we thought, why not take it up. We haven't done a vertical microdrama before. It's a new space, and that makes it exciting."

Sanaya Irani Opened Up About Disappearance From TV

Sanaya opened up about being absent from TV for many years. She reveals that neither she nor Mohit had chosen to stay away from television. Instead, the kind of work they are looking for stopped producing. 

She said, “For Mohit and me, it has never been about medium. I didn’t leave TV; instead, creative work left me. The kind of work I was looking for stopped being made.” 

She also admits that a few good shows have come in recent times. But she couldn’t join them. 

Sanaya also shared that she and Mohit are only looking for good work on any platform.

At the time of writing, it is only confirmed that Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani are on board for this show, and it is set to release on Kuku TV. The involvement of the real-life couple has generated the much-needed buzz for the upcoming show.
