Last month, Star Plus introduced Taara starring Krushal Ahuja with high hopes. The pairing of Krushal with Kanika Kapur was somewhat successful in gaining early attention. And the promo becomes trending on social media. But the outcomes failed to meet the audience’s expectations. 

Low TRPs left the channel worried and forced it to put it under-scanner. Although some reports hint that it might go off-air in June 2026, the latest report suggests the show is taking a 3-year leap that will change the storyline. Keep reading to know more about it.

The show brings Jhanak fame, Krushal Ahuja back into the lead role of Yuvraj with  fresh energy. He shares a rich-boy-meets-poor-girl vibe with Taara (Kanika Kapur). The story started with a mix of drama and twists. But it failed to attract the audience’s attention.

The launch week saw its opening with a modest 1.1 rating. That puts it far behind popular shows on the same channel. Many viewers point out its similar storyline. People also compared it with Jhanak.

As of now, the track is focusing on Yuvraj as he is heading abroad for higher studies. Tara is staying back to aim at her own growth and college life. The upcoming story will show that both characters change themselves and come together again with a fresh twist. 

This move aims to boost the story and give viewers something new to explore.

In a TV serial, a time jump usually changes many things in the show. Krushal Ahuja’s character might return older and wiser. He might come back with more baggage. There could also be a look change in the supporting cast.
