Gashmeer Mahajani and Erica Fernandes are reportedly set to headline Colors TV’s new weekend show replacing Naagin 7. Here’s the latest update on the much-talked-about project.

As reported yesterday, Gashmeer Mahajani and Erica Fernandes were set to headline a web series titled 108 Base URI. Meanwhile, the fresh report has changed the direction of the project. The new update suggests the duo will now lead Colors TV’s upcoming show. 

On top of that, the show is reportedly set to replace the popular show Naagin 7. This new change has already boosted strong curiosity among fans who are eager to see the pair on screen. 

Colors TV Bets on a New Genre

Naagin 7 has recently been gaining momentum due to its cast and momentum. As previously reported, its producer has announced that the show will bid adieu on 7 June 2026. Colors TV has now decided to replace it with a show based on an army and military backdrop. 

Such a concept can attract viewers who are looking for something new. It also gives the channel a chance to test the different styles of storytelling in a premium weekend slot. The show might offer a combination of action, patriotism, suspense, and relationships in a format.

Meanwhile, the latest report now suggests that Nimrit is no longer a part of this project. Erica Fernandes has reportedly stepped into this show as a female lead. 

The joining of Erica Fernandes has increased public curiosity because she was not a part of any TV show for a while. Her return with a high-scale show has delighted fans because they haven’t seen her in such type of roles before.

Gashmeer Mahajani has created a reputation for screen presence and versatility. He has worked in many TV shows, reality shows, and films across many industries. He gained initial fame with Star Plus’s Imlie opposite Sumbul Touqeer Khan. he was last seen in a cameo role in Lakshmi Niwas. 

Similarly, Erica Fernandes is one of the television’s most recognisable names. She has received appreciation for her performance in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.  Her polished screen presence and established popularity may add strong value to the new show,
