The same happened with Sairaab. Although Rohit Chandel’s presence and his on-screen chemistry with Madirakshi Mundle generated enough viewership and buzz, the show lost its loyal audience after his replacement.

This is thus the makers hoped the audience would connect the new leads. The response, meanwhile, didn’t reach the expected level.
The reported decline in OTT viewership becomes the crucial factor behind this decision amid TV rating absence. It has now become important to maintain a consistent viewership on the OTT platforms as the TV TRP is currently paused.

Star Plus has released the Saiyoonee launch date teaser. The Rashami Desai, Gautam Vig and Jahnvi Soni show is set to air from 23rd September 2026 at 7:30 PM. It reveals that it may replace Sairaab, which currently airs at 7:30 PM.
