Television actor Rohit Chandel has finally received major relief in the ongoing POCSO case registered against him at Ghatkopar Police Station. According to media reports, he has been granted bail after spending around two months in custody.
Rohit was arrested after a 16-year-old actress filed a complaint. It was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Rohit Chandel's brother Mohit Chandel confirmed in an interview with TellyTalk that the court has accepted Rohit’s bail application.
Mohit revealed that he has been granted bail and the remaining process involves paperwork. He also added that Rohit may walk out of jail by September 11 after the required formalities are completed.
The family is said to have received a development as a major relief after Rohit’s extended period in custody.
