Starring Syed Raza and Jasmeet Kaur, Colors TV’s Tu Juliet Jatt Di is one of the most popular shows in recent times. The show, however, is facing low viewership despite gaining positive word-of-mouth online. 

This decline has now pushed the channel to put it under the scanner amid low TRP and the new shows’ lineup. It could soon face the axe if the ratings and performance do not improve in the upcoming weeks.

Despite launching at an early time slot, the show has been successful in attracting the younger audience. The younger viewers connected to this show due to its college-based storyline. Fans have appreciated the chemistry between Heer (Jasmeet Kaur) and Nawab (Syed Raza). 

Fans have often described the couple as #Heewab to highlight the chemistry between the leads. This is because the series has become one of the trending shows online. It often secured its position in the trending section of JioHotstar for many months. 

The show, however, lost its charm recently after forced divorces and unnecessary changes to keep the leads separated from each other.

The makers have made several changes in the storyline and cast recently. But the ratings have failed to meet the channel’s expectations. The channel has reportedly been asked to work on its performance and bring a noticeable rise in the viewership pattern of the show. 

The channel is closely monitoring its performance over the next few weeks before taking the final decision on its future. It is being considered to shift the show to an early slot if it makes the required increase. The current scenario hints that the channel may pull the plug at the end of June or the start of the next month. 

It means that its future is now in the hands of viewers, as the channel wants to increase its viewership in any way. 

Fans Strongly React to the Channel Decision 

Fans come in support of their favourite show after getting this update. Most of them strongly oppose this decision, as they assume that the show is working better at the early slot compared to several of the channel’s programs airing in the prime time slot. 

Many point out that other shows, including Mangal Lakshmi and other programs, of the channel are performing average despite getting a better slot. Some also expressed their disappointment by saying that it is the only show they watch.

Colors TV currently has a lineup of several new shows in its pipeline. Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar, Juhi Mui, and others are set to hit the screens soon once the channel allows it. This is because the channel is working hard to make way for new shows by eliminating low-performing shows from its slots. 

Starring Eisha Singh and Vijayendra Kumeria, Juhi Mui is set to release anytime soon, as its promo has already touched the fans’ hearts. The channel is currently planning to give it a 7 pm slot if Tu Juliet Jatt Di does not show any sign of improvement in the upcoming weeks. 

The upcoming weeks will be very crucial for Heewab fans as they will decide the future of their favourite show.
