The weeks of hunt for a new Seher have finally seemed to end as the reports claim Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Bhavika Sharma is set to step in as the new female lead’s face in Colors TV’s popular show, Seher - Hone Ko Hai. 

As previously reported, the current Seher, Rishita Kothari, will soon make her exit from the serial. And the makers have already approached several popular actresses to replace Rishita and take the lead seat as a new Seher. The search has finally come to an end. 

Bhavika Sharma Secured the Role As New Seher

Although makers have approached several popular faces from the TV industry, reports now confirm that the makers have finally made their decision by choosing Bhavika Sharma as the new face. 

Bhavika Sharma is one of the most reputed names in the world of television. She gained immense praise and a fan base as Savi in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Her chemistry with Hitesh Bhardwaj was one of the reasons behind the show’s success. The makers of that show had made her return to the show after her exit post the revamp storyline. It shows the demand of Bhavika Sharma. 

Besides Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she has worked in several TV shows like Parvarish, Jiji Maa, etc. But she gained initial fame by working as a constable, Santosh Sharma, in Sony Sab’s Madam Sir. 

Her immense popularity in the TV globe has helped her to secure the most demanding character, Seher. She will now be seen opposite Parth Samthaan, as he is the current male lead, and will continue after Bhavika’s entry. 

She was also spotted on the show’s set doing a mock shoot for the same character.

The journey of becoming a new Seher was never easy for Bhavika, as the makers have conducted talks with many popular TV faces in a few weeks. 

As earlier reported, the makers approached Shivangi Joshi, Himanshi Parashar, Bhavika Sharma, and even Jhanak fame Riya Sharma. The makers took several weeks to make the final decision. 

The name of Himanshi Parashar was said to be almost confirmed. But she stated in a statement for IWM Buzz that she is not joining the show as the makers are looking for something different. She also confirmed that she was approached and had done a mock shoot. Things didn’t work for them. 

Riya Sharma also confirmed that she was approached and that talks were going on. But the reports later confirmed that Bhavika Sharma has secured the role as the fresh face of Seher. 

When Bhavika Sharma Will Enter In Seher - Hone Ko Hai

Although neither Bhavika Sharma nor the makers have confirmed these reports yet, the reports claim that June 12, 2026, i.e, today, is the last day of shooting of Rishita Kothari. It means that Bhavika could start shooting as soon as the final formalities are completed.

Besides Rishita’s replacement, the show’s storyline will soon witness many changes as the show is reportedly taking a leap of around 6 years. The new Seher is expected to enter after the leap is introduced.

As reports about Bhavika’s entry surfaced, fans took to social media to react. 

A large number of users expressed their disappointment with the replacement decision. They believe no one can play Seher other than the original, Rishita Kothari. Many also claim that they wouldn’t watch the show if Rishita got replaced. 

Some also point out the difference between Rishita’s feature and Bhavika’s feature. Fans assume that Himanshi Parashar would have been a perfect replacement. A few also supported the maker's decision, as they commented that they should trust the makers and wait for the final result. 

Bhavika’s fans took a sigh of relief as they would finally be able to watch their favorite actress back on TV after months of waiting.
