Rahul Dev Injured While Performing Action Stunt Without Body Double In Goa

 Rahul Dev recently suffered a leg fracture while shooting a fitness advertisement in Goa. he revealed that the accident happened during an action stunt sequence that he performed without a body double. Despite the injury, Rahul completed the shoot before seeking medical treatment.

Popular actor Rahul Dev recently suffered a serious leg injury while shooting for a fitness ad in Goa. Known for Champion, Asoka, and Awara Paagal Deewana, he revealed that the accident happened last month during the shooting of an action scene. 

Rahul himself revealed the incident as he spoke about it in a recent interview. Despite the painful injury, he continued the shooting and completed the advertisement without looking for a proper medical attention. 

Rahul Dev Injured While Performing Action Scene Without Body Double

Rahul Dev shared that the accident happened on April 22, 2026, when filming a stunt scene that needed him to jump from a height onto a safety cushion. He decided to perform the stunt himself instead of using a body double. 

He said, "On April 22, I was shooting for an advertisement for a fitness product in Goa. For a scene, I had to jump.”

Rahul shared that everything seemed normal until the landing went wrong. His foot slipped badly because the cushion shockingly shifted from its position when he jumped. 

He said, "That's where the problem lies. He was supposed to jump from a height and land on a cushion. I jumped right in. As soon as I landed on the cushion, it moved. Immediately, my foot slipped. My left ankle twisted."

He further explained that his ankle turned immediately after the landing. He believed initially it was only a minor sprain and continued working without knowing the seriousness of the injury.

X-Ray Revealed Fracture In Left Leg

Rahul goes under X-ray examination two days after the accident. Doctors later confirmed that he had suffered a fracture near the ankle area of his left leg. 

Reports stated that the lower portion of his fibula bone near the ankle was affected because he sustained a distal fibular fracture. Doctors suggested that he keep his leg in a plaster cast and take a minimum of three weeks' rest to allow proper recovery to happen. 

After knowing about the fracture, he expressed relief for finishing the advertisement shoot without any production delay or financial tension for the team. 

Rahul Dev Continues Fitness Routine During Recovery

Although the injury has temporarily restricted his movement, Rahul has not stopped his fitness activities. He shared that he is still performing upper-body workouts to maintain his health and routine.  

Rahul also credits his fitness trainer for helping him to stay disciplined in the recovery phase. He also thanked actress and partner Mugdha Godse for supporting him emotionally during this difficult time. 

 He said, "I am still fine physically and mentally because Mugdha is by my side."

Actor Expresses Gratitude To Guru During Difficult Phase

Apart from the medical treatment and fitness treatment, Rahul Dev also spoke about the emotional strength he gained during this challenging time. He expressed his gratitude to his spiritual guru, as he said that the blessing and guidance had helped him stay positive and recover faster. 

He said, "I am extremely grateful to my revered guru Shri Tarnevji. It is only with his blessings that I feel that my body is able to fight this injury and is recovering quickly."

Despite the incident, Rahul is confident that he will return to normal life soon. Fans have also sent wishes for his speedy recovery when the news of the accident came online. 

He has created a strong reputation over the years through his work in action and negative roles across Hindi and regional cinema. His dedication to his commitment to work during the recent shoot has shown his desire to complete the work.
