Story of Biker: Father, Son, and the Race Track

Vikas Narayan, or Vicky (Sharwanand), grew up under the strict training of his father Sunil Narayan (Rajasekhar). His father’s support is among the top gems in his life because his father was himself a motocross racer. This is because he pushes himself on the tracks. Shockingly, he suddenly moved away from the sport, leaving his father sad and disappointed.
The film depends heavily on the timeline jump, as it shows Vicky’s past successful days and his current life as a family man. On top of that, it also points out the following questions:
- Why did Vicky quit racing?
- How does Ananya (Malavika Nair) fit into his journey?
- What pulls him back to the dirt and danger of motocross?
The story answers these questions through the father-son bond, personal sacrifices, and the race to prove oneself again. Although it feels like a similar storyline in parts, the motocross environment also gives it a new look.
Sharwanand and Rajasekhar Shine Bright in Biker
Sharwanand looks completely different for the role. He trained hard for years to pull off the physical demands of motocross. And it shows in every racing scene. His character comes with the cocky confidence of a champion and the quiet weight of someone meeting the family's expectations
Usually known as the Angry Man in Telugu cinema, Rajasekhar gives dignity and depth in his role. He plays a tough father who shows love via his discipline. The shared scenes of both actors manage tension and unspoken love. Watching him feels refreshing. And the duo also adds weight to the father-son duo in the Biker Film.
Malavika Nair also plays her part well, as she shares a loving chemistry with Sharwanand. Atul Kulkarni and Brahmaji also add solid layers as the supporting cast without disturbing the focus.
Overall, the cast performs in a way that will make you care about these characters.
Thrilling Racing Sequences Make the Biker Stand Out
As mentioned multiple times earlier, the motocross racing backdrop makes the movie different from other Telugu movies released as of now. These scenes are shot and choreographed with expertise,
On top of that, they have captured the speed, dust, and jumps along with the risks to boost the adrenaline. Some moments kept your eyes stuck on the screens. And they boost your heartbeat with the bike speed. In short, the technical team has done a fabulous job to ensure the action feels exciting and real.
The second half is the part that captures the momentum with stronger emotional layers and races. The unique sport and high production values make it engaging as the story goes through a similar sports drama.

Where Biker Slows Down a Bit
The first half drags a bit with similar twists that regular movie lovers might find easily. Sponsorship issues or the lead’s pair tension are some examples that look undercooked or resolved easily at times.
Meanwhile, the Biker film should have dug deeper into Vicky’s personal life struggles and tension to make the drama more unique and personal. In contrast, scenes before big races lack the buildup to make it engaging.
Some emotional beats also stay boring instead of catching your attention. These are some drawbacks that might prevent it from becoming a blockbuster.

Huge shout-out to Cinematographer Yuvraj for capturing the racing action in a beautiful manner. His act of shooting sweeping scenes makes the bike roar on the screen.
Besides Yuvraj. Ghibran also deserves an appreciation for adding the background score that boosts the overall thrilling scenes. In addition, sound design also works perfectly to catch you in the world of bikes. And editing also got tightened in the second part.
Director Abhilash Reddy also deserves credit for working on a less-explored sport in Indian cinema and giving us decent moments to enjoy.
Final Verdict: Biker Film Review
A biker film is an engaging sports drama because it works perfectly when the bikes hit the track. The unique concept and strong lead performance make it worth watching. Despite having drawbacks, it succeeds in delighting the audience in the theaters.
