Before it reach theatre, the Dhurandhar 2 advance booking has started on a strong note. The sequel to the blockbuster spy thriller is already showing strong demand across major ticket platforms, with thousands of tickets being sold within hours of bookings opening.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will reach theatres on March 19, with paid premieres scheduled a day earlier on March 18. The early numbers suggest that the film is moving toward a massive opening weekend.

Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking Collection Off To A Flying Start
After the trailer drop, the Dhurandhar 2 advance booking collection boosted quickly. Within just two hours of bookings opening. Surprisingly, it reportedly sold tickets worth around ₹4 crore worldwide.
A large share of this came from the top multiplex chains. Around ₹2.5 crore came from PVR, INOX and Cinepolis alone, with nearly 35,000 tickets sold in these theatres. The speed of sales shows strong audience interest in the spy action sequel.
Trade trackers also report that the paid premieres have already crossed ₹9 crore in pre-sales. Over one lakh tickets have been sold so far for the early shows across the country.
The Hindi version is leading the charge, contributing over ₹8 crore from premiere bookings. The dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam have also started adding to the total.

Another factor that is attracting the trend is the premium ticket pricing introduced in countless multiplexes. A special category called “Super Blockbuster Plus” has been launched for premiere shows, with ticket prices reaching up to ₹2,500 in Delhi-NCR theatres.

The strong start means the film has already crossed the paid preview sales of Chennai Express, which recorded around ₹6.75 crore from premiere shows.
Now it is aiming for the top spot held by Stree 2, which collected ₹9.40 crore in premiere bookings.
With the current pace of the Dhurandhar 2 advance booking collection, industry watchers believe the record could be challenged soon.
The Sequel Carries Huge Expectations
The hype around the sequel is understandable. The first film, Dhurandhar, delivered a massive box office run. It opened with around ₹28 crore in India and crossed ₹103 crore in its opening weekend.
By the end of its theatrical run, it collected around ₹838.5 crore in India and more than ₹1,300 crore worldwide.
With massive advance sales already locked in and festival holidays like Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa around the release window, the Dhurandhar 2 advance booking India numbers suggest the film could open to packed theatres.
