New twists are entering the Bigg Boss 20 game as the contestants compete for power and their safety in the house. The makers have given a special power to this season’s winning captains.
Yung DSA was asked to select a contestant to end the selected lifeline earlier last week. He eventually picked Kanika Mann’s name. A similar situation occurred this month also where Bigg Boss asked the captaincy’s contenders named Rhiti Tiwari, Kanika, Gullu, and Mahhi Vij, and Bigg Boss put an interesting condition to be a captain.
Bigg Boss 20 Captaincy Task Gives Contenders A Tough Choice
Bigg Boss called all contestants inside the 2X room where he asked each captaincy contender to name another contestant whose lifeline they would take away after becoming a captain. This meant that the contestant had to make a choice before knowing if they would become a captain.
Rhiti Tiwari played safe because she declined to name any contestant. This is because she reportedly lost the opportunity to become a captain. Mahhi Vij and Kanika Mann eventually took different names from the housemates. Gullu, meanwhile, reportedly took Scout OP’s name.
Gullu Wins Captaincy And His Choice Comes Into Effect
Kushal Tanwar reportedly won the captaincy at the end of the task.
Scout OP therefore lost his lifeline as the rule connected to the captaincy came into effect. This twist may show the consequences of Gullu’s decision in the upcoming episodes. It also shows the unpredictability inside the Bigg Boss house.
Scout OP Loses His Lifeline After Gullu's Decision
Scout OP’s lifeline loss is another major highlight of the entire task. Bigg Boss has given extra lives to each contestant in the house. It lets them stay protected even after getting the fewest audience votes.
It means that Scout OP may be directly evicted if he fails to secure the audience votes. He is also nominated this week along with Aasif Khan and Rohed Khan. It means that his journey may end this week if he has only one life.
This development could also force Scout OP to rethink his strategy in the house. It also puts Gullu’s decision in the spotlight. Although he has decided as part of the captaincy’s task, its impact may also affect his journey in the upcoming episodes.
Will Gullu And Scout OP's Equation Change?
The latest Bigg Boss 20 twist may also affect the relationship inside the house. Contestants here often need to balance their friendship and their game to remain inside the Bigg Boss house. Such task often comes to test their relations and create chaos inside the house.
Gullu & Scout were always been a rival in this reality show, as they have even played against each other throughout the show. Scout even recently targeted Gullu for playing safe and staying behind other’s contestants.
These Contestants Lost Their Lifelines Till Now
Although each contestant had two lifelines at the season’s beginning, three of them have lost their lifelines till now.
Uditi Singh lost her lifelines last week after receiving the fewest votes from the audience. Young DSA tools Kanika Mann’s lifeline, and Gullu also reportedly took Scout OP’s lifeline till now. It means that these contestants can now be directly eliminated after getting the least audience votes.
Other contestants also have their lifelines till now. It would be interesting to see how other contestants may protect their lives throughout the season.
What Happens Next In Bigg Boss 20?
As Gullu is now reportedly holding the captaincy, the house dynamics may change once again soon. Although his decision related to Scout OP has already created buzz, he now has to handle other responsibilities inside the house.
It would also be interesting to see the Scout’s reaction to Gullu’s decision, as they are already against each other inside the house. The upcoming episodes may only solve this mystery.
