Sejal Ali’s Zanjeerein has performed well on its opening week, as it gathered around 5.2 million views globally and 1 million in India with its first episode, followed by 3.3M global and 547K Indian views in episode 2.

The opening week has explored the base of the main story, in which Danyal Zafar’s character is seen madly in love with Sehar Hashmi’s character. Meanwhile, Sejal Ali’s character is also seen with Amir Gilani’s character in a romantic scene. But things took a dramatic turn when some people entered their house, and the story moved to a flashback.

Danyal’s character is shown as the best friend of Amir Gilani’s character while romanticising with Sehar’s character. A strong enmity has also been shown between Danyal’s character’s family and unknown people over a property dispute. This dispute can be considered as the main track of the show.

Viewers also express disappointment with some aspects of the finale. They didn’t like the sudden ending of the show, as they were hoping for more episodes on how Jami will handle his stepchildren. Though most people appreciated the happy ending as Subuk also gets engaged to his lady love, Daneen.
