The makers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge were reportedly all set to reveal the trailer on March 3, 2026, coinciding with Holi celebrations.  The launch was postponed at the last minute.

According to reports, March 3 saw a Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse). The eclipse period reportedly began at 3:20 pm and ended at 6:47 pm, while the inauspicious window was said to stretch from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm. Since film trailers are usually launched around noon, the team decided not to move ahead with the release during this period.

A source quoted in a media report revealed that the March 3 date was genuinely planned and not a rumour. But once the eclipse timing was taken into consideration, the makers opted to push the trailer to a later date.
