TRP Week 5 2026 Shock! Anupamaa Beats Naagin 7, The 50 Opens Low

BARC TRP Week 5 2026 list is finally out, and the television rating charts have seen some interesting movement this week. While some fan-favourite daily soaps maintained their stronghold, a major shift at the top has grabbed everyone’s attention.

After facing tough competition in previous weeks, Anupamaa has climbed back to the No.1 position, pushing other popular shows a notch lower. Meanwhile, despite massive hype and dramatic twists, Naagin 7 failed to secure the top spot this week.

Let’s take a closer look at what happened in Week 5.

BARC TRP Week 5 2026 Top 10 Shows

Here’s how the Top 10 shows performed this week:

  1. Anupamaa – Back at No.1
  2. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi – Close at No.2
  3. Naagin 7 – Strong but settles at No.3
  4. Vasudha – Big gainer this week
  5. Tum Se Tum Tak – Holds steady
  6. Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan
  7. Laughter Chefs Season 3
  8. Udne Ki Aasha
  9. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
  10. Mr. and Mrs. Parshuram – New entry in Top 10

The list clearly shows that family dramas continue to dominate Indian television.

Anupamaa’s Big Comeback to the Top

After briefly losing its No.1 position in recent weeks, Anupamaa has made a powerful comeback. The show’s emotional storyline, strong performances, and ongoing family drama have once again connected with audiences.

Viewers seem deeply invested in the current track, which has boosted its ratings significantly. The show’s consistent storytelling and loyal fanbase continue to keep it ahead of the competition.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Holds Strong

The iconic daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi continues its impressive run and stands firmly at No.2. The revival has clearly struck a chord with both old fans and new viewers.

The nostalgia factor, combined with modern twists, has helped the show remain one of the most-watched programs on Indian television.

Naagin 7 Fails to Secure No.1 Despite Hype

There was strong buzz around Naagin 7, especially with its dramatic supernatural twists and high-voltage episodes. However, despite all the attention, the show could not reach the top and remains at No. 3 this week.

That said, maintaining a Top 3 position in such a competitive space is still a strong achievement. The fantasy drama continues to attract a loyal audience, but it may need an even bigger twist to reclaim higher ground.

Vasudha Emerges as a Surprise Gainer

One of the biggest surprises this week is Vasudha, which has shown notable growth and secured the fourth position. The steady rise indicates increasing viewer interest in its storyline.

This shift proves that fresh narratives and emotional storytelling still have the power to change the rankings quickly.

Comedy and New Entries Add Fresh Flavor

Reality-comedy show Laughter Chefs Season 3 continues to entertain audiences and remains in the Top 10. Non-fiction content is slowly but steadily carving out space among daily soaps.

Meanwhile, Mr. And Mrs. Parshuram have entered the Top 10 list this week, marking a promising start. New entries breaking into the rankings show that viewers are open to experimenting with new content.

On the other hand, the much-talked-about show The 50 failed to attract a TV audience in the opening week despite having popular contestants. It secured only 1.0 TVR, making it one of the lowest show openings.
